PP linear slot channel in a garden.
In stone paving the joint is the detail. A wide grate interrupts it; a slot disappears into it. The aperture stays narrow because the body is deep enough to carry the flow without backing up.
The body is PP rather than concrete, so a one-metre section weighs about two kilos and one person can carry a run. That is what makes a slot practical on a garden job where there is no machine access.
