04 — Channel rails
SS200X and SS400X.
The two rails the WASH series is built on. Same construction, same alloy family, two widths — pick by flow and by how much floor you are willing to lose.
Two rails
Both rails take the same basket, the same seal and the same flange detail. What changes is the width of the body: the wider rail spans further, takes a heavier grate, and needs more depth in the slab.
SS200X · Narrow rail
wet prep · dish · bar
The rail for a gutted refurb where the floor has one fall and no depth to spare.
SS400X · Wide rail
production hall · wash bay
The rail for a production floor: a wider body so the run can carry a heavier grate and a larger volume without the fall having to do all the work..
Which one
By flow
Intermittent, one sink at a time → SS200X. Continuous wash-down under a line → SS400X.
By fall
A wide rail needs the floor to give it water; a tight fall suits the narrow one.
By traffic
A pallet truck decides it before anything else does — the grate is what the wheels cross.
